First broken bone but not the last

Teagan was playing on the tramp at Nana and Papa's house and Derek went in for a big bounce. They always love when he does that. This particular time T was not ready and he flopped on the tramp. I grabbed him and he was crying. It was hard for Derek and I because it is never fun to see your baby in pain. We took him to the Kidscare and they sent us to the ER. He got X-rays and we found out to see that he had a buckle fracture. It is a straight fracture right below the knee. We were in the ER from 8-12 at night. They wrapped his leg from just below the hip all the way to the toes and gave him pain meds. We finally got home and slept. Derek took him to an orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday and they said he would not need surgery but they did want to hard cast it for 4-5 weeks. He is such a trooper. He doesnt want to walk on it so he scoots around and we carry him around. He is enjoying getting spoiled rotten. He loves playing with his "guys" (action figures) while he cant play outside on his cars.
