Allergy testing

London has been having issues with her nose since she was a baby. She is always stuffy and congested. Derek and I finally decided it was time to get her allergy tested to try and get to the bottom of all her issues. I took her to an allergy doctor and she was tested to see what she was allergic to. They had to poke her back 17 times and put the allergen on her skin next to the number. Then they expected her to lay on her belly for 15 minuets while the allergens did they job. Well having a 3 year old lay on her belly in a boring room for 15 minuets is impossible. (Only becuase we had to wait 45 minuets to be called back to even get put in a room, then wait another 15 minuets to see the doctor). So she rolled over and half the stuff came off onto the paper on the table. Good news once it was done is that she is a tiny bit allergic to Dust, Mold and Dogs. Other than that everything looked good. So we are now sure it is in her head :) Meaning her head and sinuses are messed up. So now....we have to do a nose spray for a month and see if it helps. If it doesnt we have to have a CT scan of her sinuses to see if it is something more serious. The nose spray sucks really bad but we are hoping it works. They say the side effects are serious nose bleeds. That will be fun :( I am so pleased at how good London did considering the nature of the appointment. Derek was so excited as well that he bought her a Baby Alive doll with hair and pretend scissors so she can cut the babies hair. Of course he also got Teagan a stuffed Buzz lightyear toy.
