This New Years weekend we went up to Park City with Dereks family. We did a lot of fun and relaxing things. We shopped at the outlets which was amazing. Tons of clearance and end of year deals. We also walked around main street in Park City. It was FREEZING (about 7-15 degrees) the entire time so we tried to limit our time outside. We took the kids on a late night sleigh ride on one of the Canyons ski runs. It was horse drawn and fun. The kids were worried about the Yetti that lived in the mountains though. Derek and his dad took the kids out almost every afternoon to play in the snow around the hotel. They did sledding one day while all the girls went and got pedicures. It was SO nice to get a pedicure because I cant really reach my toes at this point in the pregnancy. We also took the kids to Soldier Hollow in Heber city. It is a HUGE groomed hill that they sled down. The kids loved it but hated the feeling when they came inside and started to dethaw. We also watched fireworks on new years eve. Teagan HATED them because they were to loud. He is really sensative to loud noises. Over all we had a wonderful relaxing time. I love getaways with my little family. It brings us closer together.
